DIY Fabric Storage

Hi fellow crafters! It’s Cicily with a quick DIY/re-purpose project.

I currently have 3 cribs set up in my house ( yes I said 3!) and hopefully soon will be able to do lots of repurpose projects with 2 of them!

Lisa at Dwell Delightfully caught my attention with this repurposed crib turned fabric storage!

I have to confess I went to check out the side rail that’s collecting dust in the back of the closet to see if it would work!

Be sure and check out Lisa’s post and you’ll see how quick and easy it was to make this transformation.

Peg-i-riffic Wall Storage

When looking for extra storage space, look up at the walls! Pegboards are a wonderful tool for organizing all kinds of crafty goodies. I love that they can be used for such a variety of items such as scissors, pens, glue guns, hole punches, and more! Best of all they are affordable, and can be painted in a color to match your décor. And if you just can’t stand that hardware store pegboard? There are nice new CLEAR pegboards now that blend right into the wall behind it. Here are some pretty pictures to help you move some of your stuff onto the walls.

Here’s a pretty clear alternative to a traditional pegboard:

Here’s one tucked away on the inside of a door:

Maybe this will get you thinking about moving some supplies off your desk and onto the wall! Have a stellar day:)
