Color Me Happy!

Hello friends, Lisa here once again! My assignment for this post was “Pick a Topic” ~ what to do ,what to do!! I went back to me childhood days and have some cute ideas for storing or displaying crayons. I have loved to color ever since I could hold a crayon. Perhaps that’s why I enjoy stamping and card making. In fact I think I would probably still enjoy a coloring book and a box of new Crayolas! Have a look at the fun options I found on Pinterest. These would be perfect for little ones at home or in a classroom.

This inexpensive Lucite box is a great option for a more modern storage unit. Putting many boxes together for assorted craft supplies is a great organizational idea!

Can you guess what this started out as? It’s a loaf pan!  It’s been painted and wooden legs have been added. Cute and kind of shabby chic from the Northern cottage!

From shabby chic to outer space, isn’t he a fun little fella! This is a simple pickle jar with a fresh coat of paint on the lid. A cute portable optional and easy to personalize for the kiddos.

  1. Boy, we’ve come a long way since throwing everything in an old shoe box. I still use a few shoe boxes for storage but thankfully we can decorate them with so many pretty papers and embellishments.

  2. Do you have links to the Lucite boxes and the wooden craft organizing box? When I click on your highlights, it doesn’t take me to the source. Thanks!

    1. Hi Tina! I’m sorry about the links, don’t know what happened. But I went back in to update them and they are working for me. If you have a problem let me know!

  3. Crayons…love ’em! I don’t think there’s anything like the smell of Crayons either! These are all such great ideas! We currently have a shoebox full of mixed crayons and now I am very tempted to organize them by color!!! 🙂
